My name is Kevin Owen. I currently work at UNC Hospitals in North Carolina within the Film Management department, a job which holds its benefits. I work second shift, meaning that much of the time spent at work is simply waiting for work to arrive. Not a bad deal for $11.55 an hour.
I have recently started my own web design service known as Aavi Design for local clients in the North Carolina area. Although our website is not hosted as of yet, it will be as soon as we have a list of clients to add to our design portfolio. My current specialty in terms of web design is known by some as HTMinimaLism, which essentially means that I design with high usability and accessibility in mind rather than how flashy the site is.
As well as performing web design services, I am also an amateur writer, musician and photographer. I have done some graphics design work, though it is not exactly my strong point. At the moment I am working on a fantasy novel entitled Shadow of the Snake, which happens to be quite different from most other stories in its genre. It is both more mature and much darker in tone than most of the fantasy stories I have read. I have also been writing music under the name Fallen From Eden for about five years now, some good, and some quite mediocre. You can’t write good ones all the time, right?
